A stretch of gold.... it is high time people should stop polluting these sacred rivers and realize the true value of nature's gift.

a rainy paradox in Goa
Well… How many of us enjoy the rains…. I bet most of us do. But how many of us enjoy venturing out for a vacation in the rainy season… That is exactly what i did. Planned a trip to Goa in the month of July! Of course, i got tonnes of precautionary advices from close, distant and even unknown friends (who were friends of friends). But this was one of those events for which i could turn a deaf ear to the whole world if necessary. My close friend had the most sympathetic approach towards me. She was happy thinking that I would get to know the other side of the otherwise beautiful and friendly Goa.
Well, all is well that ends well (even though I don’t like it when a journey comes to an end). I can’t say that I enjoyed as much as I would have during the season time, but those three days were the most memorable days of my life. I enjoyed my trip a lot and ended up sickening my camera and myself. I was lucky too in many ways. Excessive rainfalls in Goa blocked all transport in and outside the state barely one day after my return. It was a memorable experience all together(it was beautiful only after i exclude the dampness due to the humid weather). :)
But, of course, I must advice you all to visit your nearest sea beach in the rainy season if you ever get a chance. I would also like to sum up my message with a warning to all those adventurous people who plan to visit Goa in the rainy season – Goa faces occasional landslides during the rains. so please read your disaster management books well before you plan a trip to the paradise. For all the sane people who have plans for the winter- i assure you this will be a well spent time.
I hope the above pictures will be able to convey my message to all my friends who have probably wasted a few minutes reading this post of mine. :P

Photography
Photography is the process, activity and art of creating still or moving pictures by recording radiation on a sensitive medium, such as a photographic film, or an electronic sensor. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects activate a sensitive chemical or electronic sensor during a timed exposure, usually through a photographic lens in a device known as a camera that also stores the resulting information chemically or electronically.
Well, for me it has always been a hobby. My weapons for this purpose are my Canon Power shot A470 and my Nokia 6303 (an upgrade of the Nokia all time favourite, Nokia 6300).
I haven’t had the time to go for a great outing with them.. But I have carried on by clicking pictures in my neighbourhood. Isn’t my neighbourhood very interesting?
These were some of the photographs taken by me at home.
My new Macintosh

I wasn't actually very interested in knowing more about computers in my early age. I always thought of spending my life doing some routine work in a corner of the world. But now I have started rethinking my options and interests. I have realised the power of computers.
