South India

If you have read my previous post then you know about my trip to the Andaman. But that wasn’t the end of our trip. We were now headed to the beautiful Mysore. Landing in Bangalore had brought a strange relief to me – my mobile and internet connection. Smile with tongue out

Next day early morning we started off for Mysore and by the afternoon were standing in the beautiful garden of the Mysore Palace. The architecture was stunning here.

We still had a long time to pass after visiting the palace so we made our way to a zoo.   loved the giraffe! it was really so tall…

Now it was time for us to go to the Brindavan Garden.  The garden was adorned  not just with beautiful flowers but with beautiful fountains too. Even before I had hardly taken in so much  the evening fountain show started…

After enjoying the warm ocean and splendor of human architecture, we headed for the cool Nilgiri Hills. It was almost a five hour journey before we reached Ooty

Ooty, a hill station situated at an altitude of 7,350ft, is a marvelous place with almost everything one would like to see. It is said that Ooty is famous for its lake but I would rather praise it for its gardens and tea gardens. Beautiful they are.
